About Me

Hello!

I know no one likes to work with a faceless entity from the internet, so here is a little bit about me.

I have always had a love for language and have come to find an expression of that through editing: whether casually proofreading for my peers in university, or working on professional manuscripts.

I have spent the last decade working in the arts where my skills in language—writing successful grants and developing new plays—have married my skills in collaboration—supporting a broad spectrum of ideas and working styles while advocating for the best possible product.

To supplement these skills, I used my time during the pandemic this year to enroll in Simon Frasier University’s editing certificate, and am excited to delve further into the vast and beautiful world of editing.

My own love for the work and my learning from the editing program have left me confident in a range of skills and I am excited to collaborate with you on any of your writing needs. I love engaging with the projects I work on, diving headfirst into the investigation and production of the stories and articles you are passionate about. I am a curious and proactive editor, interested in working with you to bring your vision to the page!
